Referee Refresher Course

International referee and United World Wrestling educator Stefan Rudevics will provide a one day referee refresher course for all current referees. The course will assist referees to be best prepared to referee at future events.
You will have the chance to practice some live refereeing through out the day.
The level C will introduce new volunteers to the rules of wrestling, and prepare them for the role of judge and set the foundation for further development.
Level C course content includes
- Introduction to the rules of wrestling
- Roles and duties
- Point scoring and actions
- Passivity and cautions
- Types of victories
- Scoresheets
Referees are required to complete the ‘Ready to Wrestle’ and ‘UWW Online Rules Test’ at the UWW Academy prior to attending the course.
