Male and Female Freestyle Veterans (35+)
Male Greco-Roman U20
9.45am Team March in (Team uniform to be worn) & Official Opening
10.00am Coaches/Managers meeting, TBC Gym
10.30am Wrestling competition starts
7.00pm Awards Dinner & Trophy Presentations – Redoubt Bar and Eatery, 53 The Strand, Tauranga.
ENTRIES:
All entries (for each Division) must be submitted by the Club Secretary (or nominee) by email storrie832@gmail.com and nzl@uww.org by Friday 29th September 2023
All athletes must be registered members of the NZOWU or their international federation (if applicable).
No entries will be accepted on the day for any division or category.
No late entries will be accepted after Friday 29th September 2023.
ENTRY FEES:
The following fees apply to all wrestlers:
$50 for First Division Category
$25 for Each Extra Division.
U13 cannot Wrestle in any other age Group Category. (minimum DOB 2013)
U15 can wrestle in U17.
U17 can wrestle in U20.
U20 can wrestle in Seniors.
Veterans can wrestle seniors but not compulsory.
All fees must be paid prior to weigh-in by all competitors and can be direct credited into Mt Maunganui Wrestling Club, A/C 01 -0373- 00701400 -000 by Friday 29th September2023. Please use your Name/Club/Nationals as reference. No Cash will be accepted on the day.
WRESTLING UNIFORM:
For weigh-in athletes must wear wrestling singlets only.
During competition all athletes must wear wrestling singlets and wrestling boots. • Coaches must be wearing team uniform or long black pants – no Jeans or shorts in the corner, along with wrestling boots or non-marking sports shoes. • Coaches must be police vetted officially through WNZ. • For medal presentations, athletes must be wearing team uniform.
