REGISTRATION - Camp and Competition
• Wrestlers (or an adult on their behalf where the wrestler is a Under 18 yrs old) must register online.
• Early Bird Deadline: On or Before 0100 hrs, 01/08/2022
Fees $660 (Under 16 Years) / $770 (Over 16 Years)
• Registration Deadline: On or Before 0100 hrs, 14/08/2022.
Fair Warnings;
- There will be random alcohol and drug testing on site. This is a clean camp and competition! Failure = Disqualification and removal from the premises. All fees are forfeit
- The camp and managers reserve the right to refuse or cancel entry at all times. If your registration is cancelled before the first day of the camp then you will have your fee refunded. Refusal may be based on any number of reasons including limiting association, conflict concerns, value misalignment or concerns over child, athlete or participant safety. This is a camp for 2 specific groups 1)At risk and disconnected youth and 2)Elite performance youth athletes. Their safety and wellbeing is paramount at all times and we will not tolerate anything that may place them at risk.
- Coaches, Managers, Representatives and Officials (including parents); While we respect that everyone wants to "help" and has a great deal of experience and knowledge we ask that ALL personnel are respected. Staff are aware that in this case they hold absolute power to sanction any club, official or "representative" who is not officially invited. Poor conduct, abusive language, improper behaviour (including incorrect challenges), threats, unsportsman like behaviour, or deciding to "help" because you think you know better WILL see you sanctioned and removed. Many of the staff are young people and this is a major undertaking for them. If you as a coach or official cannot respect and appreciate this then kindly do not register or attend.
Wrestlers; You are expected to already be familiar with correct competition behaviour. This includes;
- Shaking hands before the match with 1) Referee, 2) Your opponent.
- Shaking hands after the match with 1) Referee, 2) Your opponent and 3) Your opponents coach.
- Wearing the correct colour singlet and wrestling shoes. (NO, shorts and T-shirt are not acceptable)
- Having your nails cut short, laces taped/secured, no jewellery and hair tied back correctly (if you need it)
- Reporting to weigh in and warm up when called (remember you only get 3 calls at 30 second intervals and then you forfeit!)
- Doing your best on the mat. Being prepared mentally, emotionally, and physically. (We do not allow time for you to manage your emotions during the match. If you need to cry, that's ok. Just don't let it stop you trying your best! Sometimes champions cry even when they win! So it's cool.
- At all times take care of yourself and your opponent. Basically, we do not try to hurt our friend because, if they get hurt then we won't have someone to play against on the camp, or at the next comp. (Also it would suck being banned)

- $10 on the day.
Family (2 Adults & 2 Children) - $10 - On or Before 0100 hrs, 8th of April 2021

If a wrestler does not make weight he/she will forfeit their matches and will only be allowed Exhibition & Friendly matches if and when available. Please note weight categories reflect UWW categories.
• Age submissions are to be based on the Year of Birth (i.e., turning the denoted age in this calendar year), and not the age at the time of the competition
Awards
• Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. (Design TBA)
• Certificate issued to all attendees at the camp.
Competitors may only receive their medals whilst standing on the podium with the other competitors who placed in their division. If a competitor does not do this they will not receive their medal at a later date and this action may also cause a disciplinary result, potentially banning a competitor from competing in other divisions at the same tournament - due to bad sportsmanship.
Competitors who are eligible for a gift, prize, T-shirt or other award must collect them on the day of the competition. If they are not collected by the competitor on the day of the tournament, the competitor has forfeited their right to all gifts, prizes, T-shirts or other awards.
Types of Matches
• Match - A real match that determines the champion of a weight class (Prize is a Medal)
• Exhibition Match - A match that is scored like a real match but there is no prize
• Friendly Match - A match that is not scored and is often only one round
Risk and Insurance
The wrestler and/or their guardian (if under 18 yrs) acknowledges and agrees that the wrestler shall be responsible to obtain all or any insurance for loss and/or medical, hospital, life, income protection, personal, property, or any other risk or damage that the wrestler may cause or suffer, (whether directly or indirectly) and the wrestler covenants that they acknowledges that any failure by the wrestler to fully insure themselves against any accident, damage, injury, loss, whatsoever, howsoever arising shall be solely at the risk of the wrestler.

Furthermore, the wrestler shall make themselves available at the organisers discretion to undergo pre and post bout medical examinations, including drug testing, by duly qualified personal on the day of the event, at the organiser’s discretion and shall participate in the event solely at the organiser’s discretion, dependent upon the interpretation of the results of those tests at the sole discretion of the organiser.
Refund Policy
Any competitor who decides to withdraw from the competition prior to the Check & Change closing, may receive 50% of their fee refunded. Competitors seeking the 50% fee re-compensation must do so before the Check & Change closes or they will be unable to. No entries will be transferred or credited. There are no refunds or credits for this event, no exceptions. You will not be entitled to a refund or credit, regardless of whether or not you participate. By paying for your registration you will be put into a bracket and be called to compete on the day of competition (3 calls at 30 Second intervals). You will lose your first match by disqualification if you do not show up for your match, do not make the minimum qualification for that bracket, or have an injury or other medical condition that will not allow you to compete. This also includes divisions where all other opponents withdraw, are disqualified or absent and only one competitor remains. In this instance the single competitor will be awarded the Gold Medal on the podium, and declared the winner.
